Accounts & Subscriptions

First check which account you’re signed into and where your subscription came from. Your subscription link is an access credential, so check for sensitive information before sharing screenshots.

Do I need an email address to create an account?

No email address is required. Create an account with a username and password. Go to the account creation page from the VPN27 user dashboard, choose a username you can remember, and set a unique password for VPN27. Save your login details securely, and never share your account password together with your subscription link. Because account creation does not require an email address, do not assume you can recover access by email. If you can still log in, first check which account recovery options are available in your settings. If you have trouble signing in, keep the on-screen messages and note what you tried, then explain the issue through a support option available in the user dashboard. Avoid submitting different account details repeatedly.

Where can I find my subscription link, and how do I refresh the server list?

Sign in to the user dashboard and find your subscription details in the account overview. Use the copy or import option provided there. In your client’s subscription management page, find the relevant subscription and refresh it. Check that the update time or server list has changed, then select a server to connect. Switching servers alone usually does not fetch new subscription data; to refresh it, update the subscription itself. If the update fails, check your account status, network connection, and copied text, including any spaces at the beginning or end of the link. Your subscription link contains account access credentials, so protect it like a password. Never post the full link publicly or include it in screenshots when troubleshooting.

Do I need to buy again when I switch devices, and where can I download the client?

VPN27 has no limit on the number of devices connected at the same time, so changing devices alone does not mean you need to buy again. Sign in to the same account on your new device, open the downloads section in the user dashboard, and follow the platform instructions to get a client and import your subscription. Supported platforms: Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux. Clients are available from the dashboard after signing in on non-iOS platforms; iOS download availability depends on what the dashboard shows. After importing, confirm that the account and subscription match, then test the connection. There is no device limit, but that does not mean traffic is unlimited. Check your plan’s remaining data across all devices, and do not give your account to anyone else.

What should I do if my subscription link may have been exposed or I imported an old configuration?

Stop sharing any screenshots, text, or configuration files that contain your subscription link. Check the user dashboard for an option to reset the subscription; if one is available, follow the instructions and re-import the updated subscription on your own devices. If you cannot find this option, request help through a dashboard support ticket. Do not edit the link parameters yourself. For an old configuration, first check which subscription is active in your client, then disable entries you no longer use to keep old and new servers separate. Your account password and subscription credentials are separate access details. Changing your password does not prove that your subscription credentials have also been invalidated. Follow the dashboard instructions and confirm the subscription has actually updated.

Connections & Troubleshooting

Check your local network, proxy connection, and destination service separately. A clear error message is more useful for diagnosis than repeatedly reinstalling the client.

The client says it’s connected, but websites won’t load. What should I check first?

A connected status usually means the client has established a connection; it does not mean every app’s traffic is using that route. First disconnect the proxy and check that your local network can reach everyday websites. Then check your account status, remaining data, and whether your subscription is up to date. Make sure you have selected a server and enabled the appropriate system proxy or network-level routing mode as described by your client. When testing again in your browser, keep the destination the same and avoid changing the server, rules, and browser settings at once. If only one website fails, check that site’s regional requirements, your sign-in status, and its error message instead of assuming the entire subscription is broken.

Why does my browser work, but a particular app doesn’t use the proxy?

Your browser and app may use different network routes. Some apps follow the system proxy, while others have their own proxy settings or may be excluded by per-app rules in the client. Check the client’s current mode and which rules are being applied, then make sure the app is not set to connect directly. If the app has its own proxy settings, verify that its address and port match what the client displays; don’t copy settings from another device. Command-line tools, IDE extensions, and background services may also need separate configuration. After making changes, close and reopen the app to test again. For device-wide network routing modes, follow the client’s permission prompts and avoid having multiple proxy tools manage the network at the same time.

How can I troubleshoot frequent disconnections after standby or a network change?

First identify whether the issue occurs after the device wakes from standby, after switching networks, or during regular use. If the connection drops after standby, check whether the system restricts the client from running in the background and whether its network permissions are still enabled. If the issue follows a network change, confirm the new network is working, then reconnect in the client. On Android, check battery management and background restrictions. On macOS and Windows, check the network state after waking from sleep. Temporarily quit other network proxy tools to reduce configuration conflicts. If the issue is reproducible, note the operating system, client message, server name, and what triggers the disconnection, then include those details in a support ticket. Do not include your account password or full subscription link.

How do I report a connection issue, and what details will help diagnose it?

Sign in to the user dashboard and open the support ticket area. Describe a reproducible issue and include your platform, network environment, selected server, affected app, error message, and steps you have already tried. Say whether the problem affects all websites or only a particular service; that is more useful than simply saying you cannot connect. Before sharing screenshots, hide sensitive account details, including your password, subscription link, and access credentials. If you need to provide logs, check and remove any such information first. Keep the context in the original ticket, and explain what changed when you add test results. Check the dashboard for support updates; no response time is guaranteed unless one is published.

Speed & Servers

Choose a server based on your local network, destination region, and the app you’re using. Coverage and security information do not override third-party platform requirements.

Web pages load slowly and videos buffer during peak hours. How should I choose a server?

First check whether your local network is congested—for example, if another device is transferring large files—or whether your Wi-Fi signal is unstable. Once your basic connection is working, keep the same website and client mode, try different servers, and compare page loading, video buffering, or long-lived connections. A nearby server can be a good starting point, but it is not the only factor in stability; the actual route and the destination service’s region matter too. VPN27 covers 90+ countries / 180+ servers. See the server page for available options. A single speed test does not predict long-term performance, and repeatedly changing your exit location in a short period may cause platform security checks that look like server problems.

Does the number of locations and servers mean every service will be accessible?

VPN27 covers 90+ countries / 180+ servers, giving you a range of network exit locations to choose from. This does not mean every third-party service will work from every location. A platform may determine access based on your account region, exit IP address, payment region, and its own rules. Being able to open a website does not guarantee that all its features will work. Check the service’s current regional requirements, then test with your own account. Streaming catalogs, AI tool sign-ins, and API access may each have different eligibility checks, so test them separately. If a service displays a restriction, keep the message and check the platform’s rules rather than assuming that switching servers will resolve it.

How can I troubleshoot ChatGPT, Cursor, or other tools that stop generating output?

AI tools’ streaming responses and developer plugins often rely on persistent connections, so opening the homepage does not test the full workflow. First check the tool’s service status and your account access, then confirm that your browser, IDE, and command line are actually using the same proxy route. If the website works but a plugin does not, check the plugin or process proxy settings. If output stops midstream, note whether the device went to sleep, the network changed, or the server switched at the same time. Keep your exit location stable during testing so repeated regional changes do not cloud the results. VPN27’s connection service does not provide account eligibility, usage quota, or API access for third-party platforms. See the AI Tools guide for further configuration tips.

Can quantum encryption replace account protection and device security settings?

Quantum encryption is part of VPN27’s security information; it does not mean that your device, account, or every third-party app receives the same protection. Use a unique account password, keep your operating system and client up to date, and grant permissions based on what you need. Even with a working connection, information you enter on a third-party website is handled under that site’s own rules, and you should check the source of any files you download. Keep subscription links and app access credentials separate and never share them publicly when troubleshooting. For sensitive work, also follow your organization’s device and data policies. Connection protection and business compliance are separate concerns and cannot replace each other.

Billing & Refunds

First distinguish monthly plans from data packs, then check your order. For upgrades, plan changes, and refunds, follow the applicable terms and the confirmation shown in the dashboard.

How much does a monthly plan cost, when does data reset, and how are upgrades calculated?

Monthly plans: ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB. Data resets monthly on your activation date. If you upgrade mid-cycle, the price difference is prorated for the remaining days. Choose a plan based on your typical use and the actual usage shown in the dashboard, not just the price or device count. There is no device limit, but check your plan for the data available across your devices. Before upgrading, review your current plan, remaining term, and the upgrade confirmation in the dashboard. Do not assume the upgrade price difference gives you extra data or starts a new full billing period. See the plans page for a full price and data comparison. Your account status and actual orders are shown in the user dashboard.

How do data packs differ from monthly plans, and do they expire each month?

Data packs: ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB. They last until used and never expire. Monthly plans reset data each month on your activation date, making them suitable for planning month by month. Data packs may suit you better if you focus on cumulative usage and want to keep unused data. The billing models differ; a data pack does not grant the same allowance again each month. Before choosing, check the plan name, billing method, and data allowance. If you already have a plan, check the dashboard’s confirmation for how switching or adding a plan will work. Do not assume that remaining data can be combined, converted, or deducted in a particular order. If anything is unclear, confirm through a support ticket first.

Which payment methods are supported, and what should I do if my order status doesn’t update?

Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT are supported. Start the payment process from the plans and orders page in the user dashboard. Check the plan, amount, and payment instructions shown on the page before proceeding. After paying, return to the dashboard to check the order status. If it has not updated, first confirm that you are viewing the same account and order; do not pay again right away. If the issue persists, open a dashboard support ticket with the order ID, payment method, and a redacted payment receipt, and describe what happened and what the page showed. Do not share sensitive payment details publicly or transfer funds to payment details not confirmed in the dashboard. Check the dashboard and support response for the payment and order outcome.

What is the refund period, and how do I submit a request?

VPN27 offers a 60-day no-questions-asked refund. See the Terms of Service for full eligibility details. To request a refund, sign in to the account used for the purchase and open the support ticket area in the user dashboard. Clearly state that you want a refund and provide the order ID so the team can verify the order and account. You do not need to report a connection issue to request a no-questions-asked refund. If you also want help troubleshooting, describe the issue separately to keep it distinct from your refund request. Read the refund terms before submitting, then check the ticket for a reply and provide any necessary details. Refund progress, the status with your original payment provider, and any verification requirements are subject to the dashboard response and the provider’s records.
